New Faculty Orientation DayAugust 18 at 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

New Faculty Orientation on Monday, August 18 is required for all new faculty to attend. The day will begin at 8:30 am with a continental breakfast in the Anderson Hall Atrium.  Lunch served at noon. Sessions at 9am include: Gustavus 101: An introduction to working at Gustavus and Syllabi and Honor Code Workshop: Building your course syllabi. Please bring your laptop. The 1pm session will be Moodle and Classroom Technology Workshop: An introduction to technology at Gustavus. Please bring your laptop.  At 3pm there will be an optional Campus Tour: Join Professor Matt Rightmire (Theater & Dance) for an informal tour of the Gustavus campus. Also at 3pm, there will be Flex Time: Use this time to pick up your keys, parking pass, or ID badge; finish up work on your syllabi; build your faculty profile page; or just take a moment to relax or take a walk in the Arb. Location: Anderson Hall Atrium.
